Biography: Harry Edwin Kneale (back row left) and his brothers grew up on Bucks Road, Douglas, and attended Salisbury Street Methodist Church. Upon the outbreak of war, Harry and his brothers including brothers John Frederick (back row, centre) and Stanley Kneale (back row, right) enlisted in the King's Liverpool Regiment. Later in the war, Harry was commissioned as an officer. After the close of hostilities he became an accountant and company director, with Shannon Kneale and Company. (Image ref: PG/14453/4).
