Muriel Hind was a successful long-distance trials rider aboard Rex machines. She wanted ride the TT, but the rules did not allow woman to take part. - Bill Snelling Report this

The rider doe not look like Muriel. She certainly visited and wrote about the TT in the 1910s. I suspect this is a "holiday " photo of some other lady - Annice collett Report this

Muriel Hind was most certainly not the first woman to own and or/ ride a motorcycle - Annice Collett Report this

Thank you for your comment Annice Collett. Muriel Hind's name is written on the photograph and looking at other pictures of her it is hard to tell whether this is her or not. The newspapers in 1956 made reference to her being the first lady motorcyclist https://bit.ly/3bezL7g and she is mentioned as early as 1906 as a lady motorcyclist https://bit.ly/3HMrx2A - Emma.
