Mr Christian of Sulby talks about flax mills at Ballabrooie and Ballamenaugh Road. He mentions wooden waterwheels; the process of milling flax; 'Gawne the Weaver'; Alec Sharpe; Claddagh Mill; half linen and half wool cloth; and he tells the story of the tailor and 'The Fairy Child.'
