Harry Kelly's Cottage, Cregneash Village, Isle of Man

Scope & Content: Harry Kelly about to enter his thatched cottage at Cregneash Village. The cottage was donated to the Manx Museum Trustees by a member of the Kelly family and in 1938 became the first building in the village to be opened as a folk museum. Since 1938, other buildings in the village have been acquired to enlarge the picture of crofting life and to show the diverse crafts upon which the crofter depended for his livelihood.
