Scope & Content: The identification of Adolph Wilhelm Morlock is based upon the prisoner number 8622 which appears on the glass plate, and comparison with the repatriation and hospital lists which appear on the ICRC website. His Red Cross information bureau number was 38701. He arrived Knockaloe 19/6/15. He appears on a list of prisoners dated 7/7/15 on which he is recorded as age 23, next of kin Friedrich Morlock, Karlsruhe i/B, Marienstr. 43

(He is thought to appear as Adolf Morlock on 1911 census - a draper's assistant aged 19, living in Surrey as a boarder).
