Scope & Content: Track 1: Frank Newbould and Mrs Christine Newbould talk to John Beckerson about their honeymoon in the Isle of Man and later holidays. Christine explains why they chose to spend their honeymoon in the Isle of Man; Frank comments on travelling to the Isle of Man in a Dakota DC3 and returning in a de Havilland Heron. They talk about arriving at Milne’s Waverley hotel; family holidays to Blackpool as children; paying for their wedding and honeymoon and how they booked the holiday with a travel agent; Yeadon Airport; Milne’s Waverley hotel room; having to go out into the hotel corridors at night to go to the bathroom; anecdote about a window cleaner at their hotel room window; seeing 'Gigi' at the cinema in Douglas; hotel breakfast; places visited; holidaying abroad; drinking; interiors of the hotel; parents’ living standards; holidays in the Lake District and later foreign holidays; Milne’s Waverley mealtimes.

Track 2: Christine recalls what they were both wearing the day they left Milne’s Waverley; Milne’s Waverley having left a big impression on them; baronial style of the hotel; hotel bathroom; and they talk about how they felt leaving the island and what they did when they got home.
