Scope & Content: A manuscript letter from Governor Wood, informing the Duke of Atholl that the House of Keys met to propose new laws, and the Comptroller [John Quayle the Younger] will be able to give greater explanation on them [as he is delivering this letter, in person, along with other items]; enclosed with the letter is a document containing a copy of the resolutions passed by the Keys, concerning proposed new laws, which relate to: storm drains, stone walls, highways, and the extension of licenses for public houses; these resolutions were passed on 13 September 1762.
