Scope & Content: William Duff lived in Glen Duff in what is now Cafe Rosa. He was born in Lower Glen Tramman and served in the Royal Flying Corps in France during the First World War. He moved to Glen Duff which was rented from the Church as it was glebe land with cottage. The rent was £12 per year. The building he is in front of was thatched with rushes that were held on with 'cia'ar' and was used for his cow and heifer. He cleaned his chimney with a 'clew' of gorse. He was the official longtail collector for Lezayre, 1p. for a male and 2p. for a female.
