Scope & Content: The opening speeches of the Celtic Congress Conference 1992 held at the Manx Museum, Douglas. Bernard Caine introduces Sir Charles Kerruish who then gives the opening speech and declares the conference open. Bernard then invites delegates from Brittany, Ireland, Wales, Scotland and Cornwall who give short speeches in Breton, Irish, Welsh, Scotish Gaelic and English respectively. Bernard then gives thanks and introduces the Story of Mann film which is then played until the end of the recording.
