Scope & Content: SS Mona's Queen IIII arriving into Douglas; she was a passenger vessel operated by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company between 1946-1962, mainly operating between Liverpool and Douglas.

Visitors from the ship go on a horse tram ride along Douglas Promenade starting from outside the Arcade (the old sea terminal) on Douglas Pier; this was demolished in 1961. Registrations to join the Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland (RIBI) at the sea terminal.

Laying of poppy wreaths at Douglas War Memorial on Harris Promenade. Guests from the RIBI playing bowls and golf at Nobles Park.
