'Skating at Pulrose', Douglas, Isle of Man

Scope & Content: Group of people ice skating at Pulrose. It was as a result of the 'Great Snow' and the 18 degrees of frost that followed that made skating possible. The area was flooded each night to allow a fresh layer of ice the following day. Refreshments were served by Mrs George Drinkwater who had sent out invitations to a large company of ladies and gentleman who came to skate each day.
