First World War internee George Rulf inside an internment hut, Knockaloe Camp, Isle of Man

Scope & Content: The identification as George Rulf is derived from the prisoner number 13561 which is marked on the glass plate, and comparison with the repatriation lists on the ICRC website. His Red Cross information bureau number was 34229. Arrived Knockaloe 29/7/15. He first appears on a list of prisoners in June 1915, age 27, recorded at Frith Hill camp. He is shown as Landsturm (army reserve) with home address: Braunschweig, Steinstr.4. He was transferred to Spalding 27/4/18 and to Holland 11/5/18.
