Scope & Content: Mr Senogles worked in the Foxdale mines; His people came originally from Cornwall to work in the mines; Work as a striker; Timber from Wales; The Mining Company had their own boats and cargo of lead shipped from Ramsey every fortnight; Lead put in little bags; 4 shafts - good ventilation; One fatality; Large water wheel used to pump the water out of the mines; Mine owners and workers pay.
