Scope & Content: Lola Kinvig talks to Kirsty NeateĀ about her parents Sage and John Kinvig who were native Manx Gaelic speakers and were often visited by language enthusiasts. Lola talks about her own upbringing; playing in the fields and in the river; neighbourhood children including Nancy Quayle; her siblings. She recalls her parents and how they didn't speak Manx to the children and only sometimes with visitors. Lola says she could understand a little Manx but couldn't speak it. They end by talking about her parents.
