Stanley talks about how he was born in Hillcrest in 1910; the origins of the house name; his mother Eleanor and her family from Castletown; his father John, a Cregneash Karran; photographs and recordings of his mother in the Manx Museum (Eleanor Karran was a native Manx Gaelic speaker).

He talks about farming and fishing; work done by women; families and people from Cregneash including where they lived.
