Scope & Content: 'The Grave in the Mountains', Maughold (see W.W. Gill, Third Manx Scrapbook pp.302-3). Directions - to approach from Mountain Road: From Black Hut follow the wall heading up on to Clagh Onys as far as its corner with a wall. Thence bear upwards towards the right, making for the largest outcrop of stone on the western shoulder, walk round the shoulder, keeping well in to the back of the hill until an arc of three white quartz stone, so keep on the left. Move out from the back of the hill until the grave stone is visible.
