Scope & Content: Acknowledges the population of Ireland and some districts of Scotland are suffering severe distress owing to the failure of the ordinary supplies of food. The Lord Bishop of the Diocese may arrange when is most convenient for Her Majesty's letter to be read to encourage the congregation to liberally contribute fund for the purpose.
