Scope & Content: Articles by Louis Crellin include 'Some Notes on Foxdale School', 'The Destruction of the Coosh Vooar', 'Shenn Boaayl Ard', 'A Street in Peel' and 'The rediscovery of Joaney's Grave'. The deposit also contains a typescript transcription of an account of a perambulation of the boundaries of German and Michael in June 1882, notes on fairies, Crosh Vooar and Lady Ven on Ballabrooie; also notes taken at an 1981 IOMNHAS lecture delivered by Harry Cannell (former water engineer) on the history of the Island's water supplies and a translation to English from the Manx of the Manx Herring Fleet in Douglas Bay on St Matthias' Night September 1787.
