Scope & Content: On the back of this photograph Frowde writes, 'The N end of Parade Street from the L.M.S.office to the Sheffield Hotel. This film, sharp enough is the 20 print, is not sharp enough for p.c. size. Held well away however, the view becomes fairly realistic. In the case of films getting scratched, these overenlarged prints can be photographed onto plates, and reproduced in smaller and clearer, sharper prints'. Additional note: 'and another deep sepia matt possible? For reserve. Next OK. for series'.
