Scope & Content: His hat was made of polecat skins. He and his wife set up the Lezayre Social Club which numbered 70-80 members. He was known as George the Lodger as there were four George Quayles in the neighbourhood. He was known for his 'bumbee' cages and wrote 'Legends of a Lifetime'.
