Woollen Wholecloth Quilt

Description: A red woollen wholecloth quilt made of two pieces of hand-woven fabric.

The quilt is backed with a patched unbleached, woollen blanket and is hand-quilted in a zig-zag pattern with red woollen thread. It is bound in red cotton with one line of machine stitching. The quilt does not contain any filling.

This patchwork quilt is from the home of Miss Mona Woodworth of Port St Mary.
