Woollen Wholecloth Quilt

Description: A red woollen wholecloth quilt, the top of which is made of two sections of fabric sewn together.

The quilt is backed with a cream blanket and is hand-quilted in a zig-zag pattern.

The quilt belonged to the donor's mother's family, the Cubbons of Ballacleator Farm, St Judes, Andreas and is thought to possibly date from the early 19th century.
