Glenfaba Hoard Armlet

Date made: deposited c.AD 1035

Description: Twisted silver wire armlet. One terminal broken off in antiquity. Other terminal damaged at one end - diamond-shaped with impressed dot decoration around outer edge of surface. Whole armlet has been compressed in antiquity so that terminals overlap by 43mm. Of a complexity of manufacture similiar to that of the Greeba gold ring (IOMMM 1983-0012).
