Biography: Age 27, Peter Arnott is a motor cycle fitter and comes from Monmouth. With Roy Thompson as his co-rider he finished second in the Thruxton 9-hour race in 1957 and fourth in 1958. He entered for last year's Senior M.G.P. but crashed at Ballaugh in practice—first lap, first day !—and was a non starter. He has scored first and second placings at various short circuits and was 11th in the 500 c.c. class of Clubman's Trophy races at Oulton Park last Whitsuntide.
His machine is a standard 1959 Manx model - the one he crashed last year but has since repaired. Hobbies: "Small bore riftle shooting, sleeping, waiting for Christmas, and girls." (TT Special, 5 September 1961, p.8)
