Biography: Age 27, Roy Barnes is an architect's assistant, and comes from Eccles, Manchester. He has competed at short circuit meet-ings including Aintree, Cadwell Park and Thornaby, and in the Tandragee "100". In 1959 he competed in the Senior Manx, but retired alter two laps; last year, however, he finished 55th in this event at 75.35 m.p.h. Hobbies : "Motorcycling only."
