Biography: Senior – Norton
Age 32, Edgar Barona is a businessman from Columbia, South America and is the first visitor from that part of the world ever to race in the Isle of Man.
He has ridden with considerable success in the South American continent and in 1954 he was second in the Peruvian Grand Prix. Last year he was the winner of the Grand Prix of Chile and for the past two seasons he has been Columbian Champion in both 350 c.c. and 500 c.c. classes.
He is entered for this year’s Senior T.T. by the Motorclub Coli-Colombio.
