Biography: Junior – A.J.S.
Age 27, Alan Burton is a contracting electrician and comes from Eastleigh, Hants. His first experience of the T.T. Course was as a Clubman’s rider in 1953 and he made his debut as an ‘International’ in the 1954 Junior T.T. in which he finished 34th, winning a Silver replica.
He has also ridden at a number of short circuit meetings and has won non-expert classes at Thruxton and Warminster. Absent from the Island last year, he again rides an A.J.S. and is entered for the Junior race by Messrs. Wilkins Motors.
