Brian Denehy

Biography: Age 31, B. L. Denehy is a school teacher, and comes from Downham Market, Norfolk. He started racing in 1951 with a modified KSS Velocette, and in 1956 turned to a 500 c.c. Norton. He has ridden at various meetings, his favourite circuits being the "two Parks" - Cadwell and Oulton. He finished 14th in the 1957 Newcomer's Race, which entitled him to a ride in the Senior M.G.P.: in this, however, he retired at the pits after three laps. Last year he rode in the Senior Manx again, but had to retire on the first lap. (TT Special, 5 September 1961, p.10)
