Biography: Age 25, Peter Gaunt is a motor cycle mechanic and comes from Horsforth, near Leeds. He has competed in trials and scrambles and has also had experience of short circuit racing at meetings such as Cadwell Park, Charterhall, etc. In the 1959 Junior he rode a B.S.A. and finished 68th, whilst last year he was 40th in the Senior at 87.40 m.p.h.
Peter's machine for this year's Senior is Bill Bancroft's "Bancroft-B.S.A." with numerous modifications.

Senior – B.S.A.
Age 24, P.H. Gaunt is a motor cycle engineer and comes from Horsforth, near Leeds. He has competed in trials and scrambles and has also had experience of short circuit racing at meetings such as Cadwell Park, Charterhall, etc. In last year’s Junior he rode a B.S.A. and finished 68th. He has not done much racing this year because he broke a leg scrambling in March.
