Biography: Mount: Senior – Norton
Age 28, an engineer, comes from Putney, Gregory is a “grass” enthusiast. He raced in 1945 at all available grass meetings and in 1946 at every Brands Hatch meeting “and a few others in between.” This year he has been riding at Brands Hatch again at a meeting at Aybridge Aerodrome, came first in the 1,000 c.c. Newcomers’ race. Says he entered one scramble in his life and found it too dangerous, and adds that as this is his first visit to the Island he is going to be “dam’ careful.”
He is entered by Eleanor Motors Ltd. His machine, which is his own, is a 1939 490 c.c. standard Norton the one which he rides at Brands Hatch.
