Biography: Age 38 Bob Harrison is an aircraft engineer from Luton, Beds. He started racing in 1950 and has since competed in about 100 meetings, at first using a 1948 Manx Norton, and switching in 1953 to a 1952 Featherbed Norton. In non-expert class races at Thruxton he was third in 1952, second in 1953 and winner in 1955. In the same year he was 35th in the Senior Manx. He returned last year after a twelve month absence, but crashed between Doran's Corner and Laurel Bank at a spot known to himself as 'Harrison's Bend.' Hobby: "Still gardening, in spite of what my wife and the boys say about the weeds."
