Age 26, John Roy Holder is a motor cycle fitter and comes from Sidcup, Kent. He has ridden at Aintree, Silverstone and elsewhere and has scored 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. He was 5th in the 1957 I.o.M. Southern “100.”
In 1958 he rode in the 500 c.c. Snaefell race, but, as he says: “One lap broke it.” Last year however, he scored a first in the Senior Clubman's Trophy race and seconds in the North West “200” and the I.o.M Southern “100.”
