Biography: Age 29, Harry Irlam is a tool maker and comes from Eccles, Manchester. This is his seventh season's racing and he has competed at Aintree, Alton Towers, Cadwell, Kirkby Mallory, Oulton Park and Rhydymwyn. 1958 was his first season on a "500", his previous experience having been gained with a 250 Velocette. He rode in the 1958 500 c.c. Snaefell race but retired on the first lap. In 1959 he finished 49th in the Senior, whilst last year he was 51st in the same race. His machine is a 1956 Manx model, with no modifications.

Velocette. He rode in the 1958 500 c.c. Snaefell race but retired in the first lap. Last year he finished 49th in the Senior. His machine for this year’s Senior is a 1956 model 30M.
