Biography: Age 21, J.A. Jacques is an engineering turner, and comes from Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire. He has ridden at various short circuit meetings, with a second and fourth at Oulton Park, a fifth place at Castle Combe, a seventh at Silverstone and eighths at Cadwell and Crystal Palace. His machine is a Gold Star which he bought eighteen months ago, and since then he has modified it stage by stage until now, he writes " I believe it is one of the fastest Gold Stars in the country".
