Biography: Junior – Norton
Age 27, Noel Jones is a fitter and comes from Liverpool. He has had several seasons’ racing experience at various circuits such as Aintree, Oulton Park and Rhydymwyn. He entered for the 1958 350 c.c. Snaefell race, but as he says, “lost a few important parts of the gearbox in practising” and was a non-starter. Last year he came off at Signpost on the fifth lap – as Noel says “Maybe this year will be third time lucky!”
