Biography: Age 28, Leonard Lewis comes from Minera, nr. Wrexham, where he is a steel worker. His first road race was last year's 500 cc 'Newcomer's' in which he finished 11th on his Matchless. In the Senior MGP of the following Thursday he was 37th with a best lap at 84 mph. Hobby: "Putting pieces together."
