Biography: Age 28, R. Minto is a driver, and comes from Bermondsey, London, S.E. 16. He has had some short circuit racing experience, with successes at Brands Hatch, and in 1958 rode a Norton in the 350 c.c. Snaefell race, coming in 21st at 76.91 m.p.h. This qualified him for a ride in the Junior Manx, in which he finished 42nd at 78.60 m.p.h. In 1959 he rode in the Junior Manx again but had to retire; last year, however, he finished 19th in the Junior at 85.37 m.p.h., winning a Replica.
