Biography: Junior – B.N. Special
Age 20, Anthony James Monk is an apprentice electrician and comes from Wolverton, Bucks.
This is his first season’s racing, but his B.N. Special has had plenty of experience of the Mountain Course, having been ridden in five M.G.P. races from 1956 to 1958 by Alan Virco – and finishing in all of them. The machine is basically a1954 Manx Norton fitted with a B.S.A. engine.
