Age 26, Olle Nygren is a salesman from Enskede, Sweden. To British fans he is perhaps best known as a star speedway rider, at one time a member of the Birmingham team, and he has finished third in the World Speedway Championships at Wembley Stadium.

However, he is also a road racer in his own right, and in 1954 he was rated as 350 c.c. Champion of Sweden. Last year he did even better, finishing as double Champion in both 350 c.c. and 500 c.c. classes. Definitely a lad who is going places – fast!

Olle is interested in photography and also in sailing. He is making his first T.T. appearance, and after some bad luck in the early practice periods he put in some pretty rapid times, twice getting into the morning’s “Six Fastest” lists.
