In 1959, he rode at Cadwell, Mallory, Oulton, Silverstone and Snetterton, with third, fourth and sixth places, and early last year he scored a third and a fourth at Scarborough and a fourth at Cadwell Park. He rode a B.S.A.—Norton—Watsonian—Earles outfit in last year's Sidecar T.T. but was unlucky enough to retire on the last lap. (TT Special, 16 June 1961, p. 7)
