George Palmer

Biography: Age 25, George Palmer is a motor engineer, and comes from Pontefract, Yorkshire. He has raced at Aberdare, Aintree, Cadwell, Charterhall, Mallory Park, and Scarborough, with third, fourth and fifth places, and scored two firsts at the Ilkley and District sprint. He rode in the 1957 350 c.c. Newcomer's race and finished 39th, whilst in the same class of the 1958 Clubman's he was a member of the winning team. In last year's Junior Manx he was unlucky enough to have to retire on the first lap. His machine for this year's Junior is a 1961 7R model.
