Age 32, M. R. D. Pizzey is an engineering inspector, and comes from Wimbledon, London. He has ridden in trials, grass-tracks and scrambles since 1947, and after taking up road racing in 1952 he has been seen in many of the principal meetings (including international races) in this country, with “nominal success.”
A newcomer to the Isle of Man this year, he is entered by Elite Motors Ltd., and is riding a 1953 Manx Norton, ex-Bob Foster, which has been fitted with a home-built streamlined shell. His hobby is photography.
