Biography: Senior - Norton
Junior - Velocette
Age 39, a motor engineer from Bradford. Had experience at Brooklands and Donnington pre-war, but did not race over the T.T. course until last year’s Manx Grand Prix when he rode Norton in both Junior and Senior events. Finished tenth in the former at 70.61 m.p.h. and won a replica, but retired on the first lap in the Senior.
