Age 26, Dick Thomson is a cycle mechanic. He was entered for the 1954 race, but crashed at Zandoort, Holland, before practising for the Island started, and was unlucky enough to break his leg. He was however, fit again later in the season and was placed fourth in the Junior event at Marseilles.

Last year he finished 45th in the Junior T.T., but retired on the fourth lap of the Senior race. He is entered by the Motor Cycle Racing Club of New South Wales.

Age 25, Dick Thomson is from Sydney, Australia, and is a motorcycle mechanic. This is his first Isle Of Man appearance, for though he entered for last year’s T.T. races he crashed at Zandoort, Holland, before practising for the Island started, and was unlucky enough to break his leg. He was however, fit again later in the season and was placed fourth in the Junior event at Marseilles.

Both machines for this season’s racing are standard 1955 products, and he is entered by the Motor Cycle Racing Club Of New South Wales.
