Age 33, K. E. Tully is a fitter, and comes from East Grinstead, Sussex. He first started racing in 1949, using an A.J.S. on the South-East Centre grass tracks. Converting this machine to an A.J.S.-J.A.P., he was very successful on short and grass circuits during 1950.

His first ride in the Isle of Man was during the 1951 Junior Clubman’s, when he finished 35th on an A.J.S. In 1952 he turned to the T.T. proper, and was 48th. He rode in most of last year’s home road race meetings, and finished 46th, on a B.S.A., in the Junior T.T.

He retired in last year’s Junior, but finished 35th in the Senior T.T., to win a bronze replica.
