Biography: Age 26, Ralph Whitehouse is a wood machinist, and comes from Hemel Hempstead, Herts. He has ridden at most of the southern circuits and made a previous Manx appearance in 1954 - when he dropped in a valve at Kirk Michael on the opening lap. In the 1956 Senior Manx he finished 29th but in the same race last year he finished 20th, less than a minute outside replica time.
