Biography: Mounts: Junior – A.J.S
Senior – Norton
Age 24, Joe Brindley is a general engineer and comes from Marston Green, Birmingham; he is at present doing his National Service in the R.A.F.
He has had four year's road racing experience without, he says any, outstanding successes, but he scored a couple of “finishes” in the 1955 Manx Grand Prix – 35th in the Junior (on a 1948 Norton) and 18th in the Senior, in which he rode the last four laps without a clutch.
His A.J.S. for this year's Junior is a "practically standard" 1953 7R model, while his Senior mount is a 1955 30M Norton “modified to 1956 standards" - he hopes! He is his own entrant for both races.
