Biography: Age24, Allan Craven is a moulder from Wilsden, near Bradford, and this is fourth MGP ride. In 1955, which was also his first season of racing, he retired through mechanical trouble in the Junior, but finished in the Senior race on a veteran 'pre-featherbed' Norton whcih had already completed four MGPs and a couple of TT races. In 1956 he finished 28th in the Junior MGP and 24th in the Senior and using the same machine last year - a 1956 350 BSA - he was 11th in the Senior with a replica.
