Biography: Age 26, James Crlpps is a motor mechanic and comes from Sidcup, Kent. He has been racing since 1957 and has had plenty of short circuit experience at meetings such as Brands Hatch, Crystal Palace, Mallory Park and Snetterton. He rode in the 1959 Junior M.G.P. but came off at Waterworks on the 4th lap and retired although he was unhurt. Last year his luck was out again he had to retire un the fifth lap of The same race.
His machine is a 1956 ex-works model, ridden by John Hartle that year, which has now been brought up to 1958 specification.
