Biography: Age 25, a threshing machine driver, of Kelty, Scotland. Has had various successes in trials and scrambles, and sand and short circuit road races since 1946, with a high light of finishing second to Denis Parkinson in the final of the 350 c.c. event at Kirkaldv last year. Machine, B.S.A. Gold Star.

Sadly died competing in the 1955 Junior MGP after a collision with L.F. Ivin near the Gooseneck on the second lap of the race.
